Former Counting On stars Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have just celebrated a major milestone, and it’s not an anniversary or baby announcement. Dillard just completed his first year of law school, and Duggar decided to honor her husband’s accomplishment with a family pizza party.

Duggar obviously wanted to share the celebration with her one million Instagram followers, so she posted photos of her homemade pizzas, documented the party on her Instagram stories, and shared the pizza recipe on the family website.

“Whoop whoop!  🎉 This guy just finished his first year of law school today!! 🙌🏻🤗😁 Pizza party to celebrate. ❤️🍕” wrote Duggar.

The couple celebrated Dillard’s achievement with their two sons, Israel, 4, and Samuel, 1, but no one in else in Duggar’s ginormous family showed up for the party. Ever since TLC fired Dillard from Counting On in late 2017 after a string of transphobic comments on Twitter, rumors have swirled that he has been feuding with his in-laws because of his damage to the family brand.

Dillard rarely shows up at family events, they ignored his 30th birthday which he celebrated in March, and not one of Jill’s 18 siblings (or her parents) showed up to help the couple move into their new home last month.

For a family that seemingly does everything together, this is quite odd. And, it points to something being wrong between Dillard and his in-laws.

This doesn’t keep Duggar from professing her love for her husband. She regularly gushes over him on social media, telling followers that he is her “fave” and she can’t imagine life without him. Jill also likes to add hashtags to her posts like #besthubbyever and #soinlove.

After Counting On, the only way the couple can keep their fans up to date is with their social media activity, but their posts usually result in some kind of backlash. Jill recently caused a stir when she told fans that she had killed a bee and wasp in her house.

According to People Magazine, last August, Jill Duggar gave her followers advice on how to teach kids about sex and reproduction, promoting the 4-book set The Story of Me, so parents could tell their kids about the birds and the bees before anyone else does.
